Food questions - Indian and afternoon tea at Swan

1) Soon we are staying in Knightsbridge a few minutes walk from V & A Museum. Wanting to find really good Indian food in that area - can travel as needed, but would be nice to walk. Anyone had experience in recent few months and can provide recommendations. We have some good enoughplaces in Seattle, but got really spoiled with Mother India's in Glasgow. Soooo good!

2) Anyone done afternoon tea (in the recent period) at Swan in the Globe Theatre? Thinking of doing this before seeing Henry IV,
part 1 in a couple of weeks.

Thanks to anyone who can share recommendations. Susan

A friend took me to Woodlands, on 77 Marylebone Lane, just off Wigmore St., for dinner once. I went back on my own a couple years later, it was so good. It's vegetarian, they specialize in South Indian, but do all types of Indian food. They have several venues in London.

I'm planning to go back on my next visit in a few months and hoping the quality's still the same after nearly a decade.

Been a few years but Khans by the South Kensington Tube was quite good.

Maybe 10 minute walk from the V&A.

The restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember.

Personally I’m a huge fan of Dishoom.

We also like Khan in South Kensington. It is not a fancy place but always busy. It is about a block from V&A.
