Flying from DC to Paris to London

Hello

I am flying into ORLY, Paris from DC on May 5th at 1pm.
I will then be catching a flight (different ticket) to Heathrow.
Do I need to go through Passport Control since I will not be leaving the airport?

If I instead decide to take Eurostar to London, how long will the commute be from ORLY to Gare du Nord at around 2pm on Friday local time?

thanks
S

Just curious which airline flys direct from Washington DC to Orly or are you taking Iceland air and connecting from Reykjavík-?

It takes about 35 minutes taxi and 45 minutes on the RER B + Orlyval train to Gare Du Nord from Orly

Since you are on separate tickets, your arrival will be as though you were staying in Paris, meaning you will go through passport control, pick up any checked luggage, then go through customs (this last is just a matter of walking through the "nothing to declare" line). You then go to your next flight as though you were arriving at Orly from a taxi or bus, meaning you check in and get your boarding pass (if you weren't able to do that online before), deposit any checked luggage, then go through security on the way to your gate.
