Flexible super off peak tickets verses anytime tickets

I want to buy train tickets for our route from Heathrow to Bath.
The flexible super off peak are a lot cheaper than the anytime tickets.
We will arrive at 11:20 in the morning and so it seems fine to get the flexible and not the Anytime ticket, and if our plane is late we can get later trains as long as they do not go through London.
Is that all correct and can we go ahead and get the flexible super off peak tickets?
Thanks!

The only caveat is if the flight is 4 hours or more late, as super off peak is not valid on a weekday between 4pm and 6pm on the not London route. I thought it was until 7pm but have just checked.
Probably a very low but not impossible chance of that happening. You then have two choices - hang around until 6pm or get staff to issue an excess fare ticket to make up the difference. Gateline staff at Heathrow "should" be able to do that, otherwise do it at the ticket office at Hayes and Harlington when you change.
Otherwise seems fine to me.
