Flat or Apartment Hotel for Stay with Grandchild

My seven-year-old granddaughter, Cora, and I will be spending five days in London this summer (July 19-24) before going to the Isle of Wight for a family walking holiday. I've spent a lot of time in London and usually do house swaps, but can't find a swap for this short time period, so am looking for a small, centrally located flat or apartment hotel that is near a Tube stop. Any recommendations? (I did this with my older granddaughter 8 years ago, but the apartment hotel we stayed in has since closed!) Thanks!

Vancouver Studio Apartments in Bayswater. Have stayed there more than once over the years. No complaints. Stairs are steep and there's no elevator so pack accordingly. Quiet. Safe. Good water pressure. Small kitchenette. Like the convenience of public transport, (2 tube stops Bayswater and Queensway), close proximity to major bus routes on Bayswater and Westbourne roads, cafes and markets, and Kensington Gardens. You are also close to Paddington Station so a 12 block walk, short tube ride via the District or Circle line or a taxi from the station to Prince's Square. Check the stellar Tripadvisor reviews. Have fun. VERY nice of you to do this with your grand daughter!

Nice recommendation Claudia! May I also add you'd be in a fab location for getting to the Princess Diana memorial playground. 😄

Have you checked with Ivy Lettings. They have a number of very reasonably priced apartment rentals. I recently booked an apartment for this summer. Hope you have a great time.
