Fitness/mobility requirements for exploring Old Sarum?

The accessibility information on the Old Sarum is vague, so I'm wondering if any of you can provide more specific info for my mother.

She can get up and down a flight of stairs and walk for about an hour or two on a flat path.
But if there is a lot of walking up and down, unstable ground, no place to rest, etc. she'll not be able to enjoy it.
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

My wife is also mobility challenged and probably not doing as well as your mother in law. After seeing a picture of Old Sarum, I would be hesitant to take my wife in there. She travels with a folding personal scooter with a 10 mile range. We've adapted, but when a city has rough cobblestones and a bunch of steps we avoid going there.

Will you be driving up to the site? If so, I don’t think she’ll have any problems. We found it quite easy.

That being the case, she will probably be ok. We found it to be fairly flat except for the entrance. That is a long incline, but the incline is gradual. Not really steep. She should be able to pace herself and do ok. Not sure it will take more than an hour or two for viewing the entire site. Here is a link to a site with many photos so you can see if it feasible. https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/old-sarum.html?sortBy=relevant

Check out access here. It sounds as if you could drive up to teh bridge and set down mum there and then take the car back to the car park. It would save the walk. There is a bench at the top oif teh bridge where she cxan sit and wait for you. Once inside she will be walking on grass so that shouldn't present problems.
