Finally home.......it was an amazing, enlightening and eye opening trip.

Just wanted to stop in and thank you all for the help in planning this incredible trip.

We finally got home at 2:30 am today after our flight was cancelled the previous day. That was stressful and we were so tired but we are home now with a suitcase full of souvenirs and cameras full of memories that will last a lifetime.

Little hiccups here and there but overall we loved our time there.

London was extremely overwhelming at first. We kinda screwed up the 3 first days a bit but in the end we hit it down and had a great experience.

Covent Garden was sooooooo worth the splurge. Definitely worth every extra penny. It was an expensive 37 days but we have no regrets.

Thank you all.

I will try my best to help others here.

Mom wants to go Ireland next. So will have to plan that next.

Thankful to be home but loved the trip.

If you do go to Ireland, plan a few days in London as well. Now that you know your way around a bit, you will really fall in love.

So glad you all had a good time. You worked so hard in planning your trip. There are always little bumps in the plans, but the overall experiences outweigh the glitches. Take a break before planning your trip to Eire, which you’ll love as well. One of the best things to do there is to engage with the people.

Glad you had such a good time and finally got the hang of London.

Now be extra careful at home with those bathtubs level with the floor! It will take some getting used to.... ;-)

Pam,

Mom said it was Cornwall. She just loved it there. She really enjoyed pretty much everything but the driving. She said she wore a hole through the floorboards in the back seat LOL.

It's great to hear that you had such a wonderful trip. I absolutely agree with you about the cost of travel being worth it. Time to start planning that next trip!

I'm assuming you meant that Mom wore a hole through the floorboards?

Sounds like a great trip. I hope you'll post more details after you've rested and digested.

You'll love Ireland, people are so friendly, lots of interesting sights and it's not nearly as expensive as London,

Hahaha...I did that on a bus trip thru Cornwall this fall too. Yikes! Some of those lanes were smaller than the ones I've traveled on in Ireland or Wales.

Wonderful that you had such a great trip and were able to roll with the punches. You must have done great if your mom is already talking about the next trip!
