So thanks to all who have followed my misadventures!
I wound up with Airalo, and it couldn’t have been easier (I bought the Global plan, allowing for data, calls & text)
Whew!

Yay!!!!
Airalo is really good. I use them because I can’t entirely give up my US phone/phone number, and they are great!
Volva, thanks!
All the e-sims I reviewed got mixed reviews. And I just decided I had to make a decision - anything would he better than paying $10 a day for 90 days, lol
I also wanted to keep my number if possible …I’m just so glad it went off without a hitch, lol

Great decision! I have been using Airalo e-sims for the past few years and it’s easy peasy.
Mary, thanks!
I was so surprised & happy at how easy it was to set up …!

I know I mentioned this before, but I used Airalo and I really liked it. It was very easy to install and worked very well. I would use it again except I now have the T-Mobile international plan, which is free. However if I go back to London, I will definitely use it because T-Mobile service was crap here. The EE network that they use is terrible.
Mardee, phone signal in London is terrible on every network. The phone signal throughout the country is pretty poor. I can only get one network at my house and parts of Bristol are a complete dead zone at times. It’s to do with the government banning a Chinese company that the network relied on.
Mardee, compared to my experience with Holafly, it was a breeze and a completely stress free experience, which was such a relief to me
