So are you asking about the idea of renting it for a stay? Because it's not somewhere to make a daytrip to.

The cottage is so adorable I have fallen in love with it. Just want to make sure there are close attractions

Cirencester is a lovely Cotswold town well placed for visiting other attractions - Oxford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bath and the popular Cotswold villages. The town dates back to pre-Roman times, was a major Roman centre and has a lovely medieval church. The Museum is worth a visit with superb Roman mosaics. The Roman villa of Chedworth is nearby and well worth a visit. I always liked the shops in Cirencester and some good pubs for lunch too! The cottage sure looks small and quaint...I'd say go for it!

Ah, your use of the word "trip" sounded like you wanted to make a day trip there.

Yeah, it's a lovely part of the world. Cirencester is a very nice small town on the edge of the Cotswolds so you can explore them at your leisure, with Bath and Oxford not far either. You'll want a car.

quote from the blog " I recently came across this fantastic little cottage on Unique Home Stays website that I felt I had to share with you. " am I getting even more cynical or does that scream "I've been paid to write a promotional piece" - especially given the professional photos?? Who browses holiday home websites and then feels they need to write a blog about it? From what I can see all the other google hits are suspicious newspaper pieces or outright promotion by the agents.
