Fenland Black Oak Table at Blackburn

This post is really for Texas Travel Mom as the original thread is closed.

I've been to Blackburn Cathedral this afternoon for the Tyndale 500 exhibition, in passing on the way home from Leeds to the Lake District.

The table is still there, in the South transept, but the explanatory material is currently separate from it at the west end of the nave. (some is nowhere to be found, must be temporarily in store).

There is a major concert on tomorrow (and there had been a big parish funeral today) so I'm not sure if they have been having to move things round.
It may be all back to normal by the middle of next week.

But I went in and was scratching my head, wondering what had happened. So a heads up.

Thanks, Stuart! I am currently in Liverpool and arrive in Blackburn Tuesday, so we’ll see how it goes. I’m looking forward to visiting the cathedral!

TTM - I would have suggested that we meet up as I live barely 10 miles from Blackburn, but on Tuesday I will be flying to Malaga for a half term holiday with my granddaughter!
