Hello All!
It’s been a while since I’ve visited this forum and hope everyone is doing well. I’m heading back to London for a week the end of March before moving on to Lisbon to start my Camino Portugues. Anyways, I usually stay in the Fitzrovia neighborhood, but this time around I’ve booked an apartment across from Camden Town tube station. Since Rick doesn’t cover this area in much detail, I was wondering if you’d be kind enough to share some of your restaurant/pub/street food experiences with a wayward, grateful soul.
Thanks so much for your time and efforts!!!
Ed
I haven’t stayed in that area, but right at Camden lock by the Dingwalls building, there are a large number of pubs and restaurants.
Across from the Mornington Crescent Station the Lyttelton Arms.
A wonderful Irish pub is SheepHaven Bay.
Can’t go wrong with either.
The local iteration of the Spread Eagle pub has been there since 1858 and the food choices are much better nowadays, believe me!
There is something for all tastes at Camden Market. You won’t get bored there.
Cambodian restaurant- I must admit I don't have a very good knowledge about the cuisine but tastes good.
