In the past, there have been threads dealing with the subject, but new walks are occasionally added and guides can change. To those who in recent years have used London Walks, what are your favorites? Over the years, I can say the only disappointing walk I have taken was a Jack the Ripper walk in the evening; the others all ranged from very good to excellent.
Inns of the Court, taken in 2022.
Over the years, Jack the Ripper, Hidden London and
Pub Walk. Always fun and informative and lovely way to see London neighborhoods.
My favorite was the Hampstead Village & Heath walk. Lovely area and quite interesting.
My favorite walks in recent(ish) years were The Inns of Court and Little Venice, for both of which I had Shaughan as a guide. He’s got a marvelous voice, an excellent sense of humor, and a theatrical (but not hammy) manner. I’d happily go on any walk guided by him.
