Family run B&B' Endland and Scotland, Tipping there

We are traveling to UK in a couple of weeks, staking only at small family run B&B (they only have two are three rooms).
Any advice on leaving tips? We know about tipping in the large city's for rooms and eating. Is the tipping for the small
family place any different?

Thanks

Uncle Gus is spot on. Tipping not customary nor expected in the UK.

Don't quite now what that means, I've never tipped "in a room", assuming you mean the maids that's not really normal in the UK.

Even in the USA it is unusual to tip the owner of a B&B.

You don’t tip B & B owners. It’s not the norm to tip hotel staff either, other than the porter for your bags, if applicable.

We don't earn much here and you are quite rich so yes, you should tip, especially if the B&B has staff. I would suggest £5 a day.
