We are a family of nine with two teens in the group looking to stay in safe area. We would prefer a house rental or apartment hotels but we are having trouble finding something with enough beds (6-7) needed. Any ideas?
You can start with booking.com, which lists some apartments as well as hotels. I fear you may not find an apartment large enough for all of you, but perhaps two in the same building?? Booking.com will ask you for the ages of the youngsters, who may be considered adults for this purpose. Then it will identify places that can accommodate all of you in however many rooms/apartments will be required. After you find some likely places, you can ask about them here, but I've found the reviews on booking.com to be quite reliable, because you cannot leave a review on that website unless you've actually stayed at the property, and people tend to be honest since they don't have to worry that a negative review there will cause other lodging managers to refuse to rent to them.
You may well save money by booking directly with the property after doing some initial research on booking.com.
For best advice here, you're going to need to give us a nightly budget in GB pounds and the date of your trip. (Lodging rates can vary a lot though the year.)
Hi Marie, we used www.ivylettings, a short stay rental company for a flat a couple of summers ago. They were really great to work with. If you go on their website you can use the filter to select a home or flat that sleeps 9. I checked just now and there were 5 that I could see. Varying price points. A couple were in Kensington, which is near where we stayed and loved it. I don’t know your budget, but they are worth checking out.
This one is in Notting Hill that says it is for 9 guests:

I emailed them and gave them an idea of what we were looking for and they were really great in offering suggestions for their properties. You might be able to get by with a smaller/less expensive place if they allowed for a cot to be brought in, too. Couldn’t hurt to ask. Good luck!
