Day 1 Monday: Tower of London and London Eye (is this duable after settling we have afternoon and evening)

Day 2 Tuesday: Thames River cruise ,Westminster Abbey, shopping at Camden market or Covenant gardens? Read both are
lovely for shopping but not sure if can do both.

Day 3: Wed: Greenwich walk around town? Victoria and Albert museum

Day 4 thurs: Rental car booked with Europe by car (victoria station) to travel to Calne. Stay with friends in Wiltshire.
Dont know if I can...should we change pick up station for car to outside London?

We are open to suggestions. We have points to redeem for activities. Can buy royal pass with points that covers tower, kennsington, hampton court. ($75 us pp) is that a good price? Also traveling around London use the Tube?
How about travel from train station? We love to see things that are typical English that you cant see anywhere but in England.
The guys love cars and Top Gear any museums?
Appreciate feedback!!

"Stay with friends in Wiltonshire."
Where on earth is that? Do you mean Wiltshire?

Are you saying that your purpose for hiring a car in London is to get to Calne? If so, then surely, it would make sense to take the train from London (Paddington) to Chippenham - which is only 10 minutes by car from Calne. www.nationalrail.co.uk will have details of train times and you should advance book with www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk. However, electrification works are likely to mean that the route via Chippenham might well be closed. If this is the case, you should at least be able to reach Swindon - where your friends can pick you up - assuming they have a car.

Despite the name (which was probably to secure the former exhibition trade), the Holiday Inn Earls Court is not in the Earls Court area but in West Kensington. From St Pancras Piccadilly Line to Earls Court, District Line to West Brompton as the nearest underground station.

For the Tower of London,Westminster Abbey walk just that little bit further to West Kensington station instead for slightly more direct trains to Tower Hill.

Even if you want a rental car, going into London to Victoria to pick a car up only to retrace your steps westwards doesn't make sense. Avis has an office off Lillie Road before you come to West Brompton underground station - they are the only 'national' company near by. You seem though to have already booked.

As to going to car museums, things that are typically English etc you don't have many days. Are you looking for more things in London or in Wiltshire?
