Falmouth

I’m not sure what kind of place you’re looking for, eg hotel or apartment, but I stayed in a delightful small hotel called the Lerryn. Close to Gyllyngvase Beach but also a short walk from the National Maritime Museum and the town centre shops and restaurants.

I stayed two nights at the Red House Guest House.

It was fine; very quiet, nice room, nice breakfast, short walk to the Maritime Museum and a selection of restaurants and shops.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are also very nice.

I recently booked 4 nights at the Royal Duchy Hotel, which looks very nice, and has very reasonable rates. The hotels is on Cliff Rd, which is right at the beach. It includes breakfast and has free parking. My room is averaging £90 a night.
