Great Western Railway will operate extra trains for music fans
attending a series of blockbuster concerts at Cardiff’s Principality
Stadium.The train operator will provide additional services to help get people
home following Pink tonight, Taylor Swift next Tuesday and the Foo
Fighters on Tuesday 25 June.GWR will operate 10 extra trains on each of the three nights,
providing a total of more than 15,000 additional seats.Trains are, however, expected to be very busy, with thousands of
concert goers walking the short distance from the Principality Stadium
to Cardiff Central station following the gigs.In total, on each of the concert nights, five services will run to
Swansea from 2252, with 11 services to Newport travelling on to either
Bristol Temple Meads, Bristol Parkway and Swindon from 2230.
