What a chaotic time for the railways! It's been announced this morning that Eurostar staff will be going on strike. This one seems to be about staff working conditions rather than guards and closing doors.
The strike will run for the following times:
00.01 Friday 12 Aug - 23.59 Monday 15 Aug
00.01 Friday 27 Aug - 23.59 Sunday 28 Aug
If you're booked onto a service over any of these dates, you may encounter delays. Eurostar say they have made tweaks to their timetable and will keep passengers informed of changes, but otherwise expect to run at usual capacity. If you have a booking, Eurostar will likely be in touch soon if not already.
