Greetings. Planning to arrive in London from Paris via Eurostar; store luggage in St Pancras Intl station; visit British Library; retrieve luggage; and proceed to hotel via tube. Is this feasible and advisable? Or is a better plan to proceed directly to hotel from St Pancras Intl station and then return to British Library later via tube? (Hotel is not in this area of London.) Thank you.

Assuming the luggage storage works out (which I don’t know anything about), and it’s when the library is open, I think it’s a good plan. The Library is right there, it’s a very worthwhile thing to see, but the treasures gallery isn’t too big, so it won’t take a long time to visit. That seems better than taking an unnecessary trip back to that area later to see it.

Also, check the British Library for your planned date for special hours/closures. For example, the Library will be closed September 26 & 27 for maintenance.

The British Library also often has a special exhibition that might be of interest. Check the Website and see what’s available during your visit. A couple of years ago, we happened upon an unexpected one on Beethoven, which included handwritten musical scores and a surprising number of sketches of him lying on his deathbed, near the end of his life.

We used the Stasher app to store luggage near King's Cross, St Pancras, and visit the British Library in the Spring. All very close and easy. It cost us $27USD to store 3 pieces from 9am to 4pm.
