Eurostar London station

We are staying at the Celtic Hotel in London and taking an early train morning train- 7:30 am to Paris. Wondering if anyone knows how far/long it will take from the hotel to the station? Don't I need to allow 1.5 hrs arrival ahead of time as well?

Google says it's 0.6 miles and a 15 minute walk.

Yes, you are recommended to be there 90 minutes before your train time to deal with EU immigration.

Yep, allow 90 minutes, I think you can go onto the Eurostar site and get an updated recommended time closer to departure. That early, and being the probably first train, they might recommend 60 minutes, but not less.

From your location, I do not think the tube would be any quicker than walking, I suppose a cab would be an option.

the 7:31 only runs on Saturday, but it isn't the first train. The 6:31 is the first train. They don't kid around with the check in time. Really, I've know of trains to leave somebody behind who was too late - they don't wait. You have security, British Border formalities, and then French border formalities, all before you get to the waiting lounge before you go up to the train. The UK government insisted on being treated as a "third country" with the full palaver from the border agents of both countries including checking Schengen history. Don't be late.

If you are going full-bore First Class on Eurostar they shorten the required time somehow. That's not for Standard Premier though.
