Is there a deadline when England will stop using or accepting Euros?

its not a matter of stopping. Euros have never been the currency in England. It's pounds. Have a good trip!

Some shops accept them but exchange rate is not good. You can exchange them or buy them here. Use pounds, GBP.

England has never used the euro. If a merchant accepts euro it is in the same way as they accept US dollars. They may but it will be a poor exchange rate. It is best to use your debit card at a bank owned ATM to obtain local currency.

Just bring pounds! Nowhere other than airports and some train stations will accept euros. It's hard enough getting some shops to accept Scottish pounds let alone trying to pay with euros!

My advice is to use Euros in the same way in England as you would use them in the US.
