England/Wales Itinerary

Hi All,
I have posted before and received wonderful tips from this forum. We finally have our itinerary settled but still need some suggestions on accomodations in 2 places.
Arrive London Sept 1 - 6 nights VRBO
Take a train from London to Bath
Bath Sept 7 -10 3 nights Harington's Hotel
Rent a car and drive Bath to Cotswolds
Cotswolds Sept 10 - 13 The Feathers 3 nights
Drive Cotswolds to Conwy, Wales - Please suggest a place to stay. Our first choice Bryn House does not have rooms for our dates.
Drive Conwy to Keswick area
Keswick Badgers Wood Guest House Sept 16-18 3 nights
Keswick to York - We need a recommendation for where to stay in York
York Sept 18-21 3 nights
Train from York to London and stay at the airport the night before we leave to go back home.
Thanks for all your help.

Rather than Conwy if you can’t find a place you like, consider possibly staying in Llandudno. It’s 5 miles away from Conwy, but larger, so has more lodging choices. We’ve stayed at Victoria House in Caernarfon on two different trips and highly recommend it. Caernarfon is 21 miles from Conwy and has a nice castle too. Unfortunately, you’d need to backtrack those miles to drive to Keswick.

For York, recommend the Minister Hotel, located close to the north gate of the old city.

For the Cotswolds, we stayed in Chipping Campden at the Volunteer Inn, highly recommend it.

For Bath, the Brooks Guesthouse and for dining, the Scallop Shell.

I don't have a recommendation for Conwy, but if you can find something inside the town walls you'll be glad. We liked Badger's Wood in Keswick. In York we stayed at the Abbey Guest House, very well located beside the river with a small parking lot as a bonus. The ownership has changed since we were there but I expect it's still very good.

Your itinerary makes me nostalgic. I hope you have a wonderful time.

We stayed at the Castlebank Hotel, which is right in the middle of Conwy, and found it very comfortable. The hosts were very congenial and served a fine breakfast. I loved Northern Wales!

We had an excellent visit at No. 21 York Guest Accomodation. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was extraordinary and it was well located for train station and walking around town. Safe travels.
