If you are considering an early trip to the UK, specifically England, it was confirmed this evening that all the current Covid restrictions we are living with except numbers permitted at weddings and funerals/wakes which were expected to be all dropped on 21st June have been extended for a further 4 weeks until 19th July. This is due to the exponential growth of cases caused by what is now called the Delta variant, with nearly 8,000 new cases today.
This does not have any direct effect on the Green/Amber/Red country lists and permission to enter the UK. That is reviewed on a different schedule.
