England 14 day tour

My sister (age 83) and I (age 78) love the itinerary for the Best of England 14 day tour. We're looking for some feedback from others who have taken this tour. It's rated as right in the middle of low to high activity. Was that your experience? What were the most strenuous of the activities? Could you opt not to do an activity if the body said "no" one day. Any thoughts are welcome.

Hi, Nancy, I have not done this tour (or any RS tour), but if you don't get any responses, you might want to post this question in the Rick Steves' Tour forum. That will catch the eye of anyone who has taken his tours.

Or you could just change the heading from England 14 day tour to something like "Need feedback on Best of England 14 day tour". :-)

I’ve done this tour. I’d say the most strenuous day was probably in London at the end. You are able to opt out of activities although it’s harder on a day you are transiting from one location to another.

As far as fitness level, I like to be able to walk 4 miles or more 3-4 days a week. You’d need to do stairs and be able to handle your own luggage.
