Elizabeth Line to Heathrow

I am coming via train from Oxford to Paddington and just watched a video how I reach the new Elizabeth line from there to go to Heathrow. The trains look very nice and I can use an Oyster card or tap my credit card and the off peak looks like 3.50 GBP. Has anyone done this yet?

I used the TFL site to check journey routes and fares.

https://tfl.gov.uk/

I had to edit preferences so that the only option was the Elizabeth line. It appears that a weekday off peak fare on the route is £10.80. If your trip dates are set the Heathrow express is only £5.50 if purchased 90 or more days in advance. Tickets may be used on any HE train to Heathrow on the selected date.

The £3.50 is the fare on the Underground
However there are probably better ways getting from Oxford to Heathrow
Need to know when to give best advise
One route a journey planner shows is changing trains at Slough and Hayes and Harlington. Total journey time about 1 1/2 hours with fare at £28.30
There is also a coach connection from Reading or a coach all the way from Oxford

Oxford to Heathrow--I'd take the bus--coach as the Brits call it.
No need for a trip into London and then back out again.
Just go to the bus station in Oxford, buy a ticket to Heathrow.
The bus driver will put any large bags you have in the cargo hold under the bus before you depart from Oxford station.
Carry on bags, totes, etc. you can take onboard with you.
The coaches have clean, nice seats more comfy than on planes, plus Wifi.

You'll soon be pulling into one of the bus stations at Heathrow.
We are usually departing to fly home from Heathrow Terminal 5, so we usually get off at the T5 bus/coach station.
There is another bus/coach station serving other terminals.
Cheaper than the train, less hassle.
The bus/coach stations are attached to the terminals at Heathrow, so just go through the double sliding glass doors and follow the signage down the hallway.

Thank you for all the advice, but what I really want to know is if anyone has taken the Elizabeth Line yet to Heathrow. A little more info on my trip. I will actually be coming from the Cotswolds so I will be on the train from Moreton in Marsh which goes first to Oxford and I think I just stay on that train onward to Paddington. (Please feel free to correct me if that is incorrect.) I am familiar with the Airline Bus to/from Oxford and Heathrow. I will be taking that at the beginning of my trip. I didn't want to have to get off the train and walk 1/2 mile with my luggage to where the bus to Heathrow leaves.
