We're about to embark on the Best of England tour. Our flight lands early in London, and we have a few hours to kill before catching our train from Paddington to Bath. We're going to walk Hyde Park and stay in the area for a couple hours, but we don't want to carry our bags. We downloaded LuggageHero and have a reservation to store our bags at the easyHotel just a stone's throw from Paddington Station. Has anyone used them before for this purpose? Was the experience good? Is there a better storage option that we newbies don't know about?
That should work. We have always used our arrival hotel because we always stay in arrival area. Have been burned a couple of times by flight delays or cancellation so we just stay put the first night.
I would leave the bags at Paddington Station.
As you don't know if your flight will be on time, so don't know if you will have spare time or not I wouldn't pre book anywhere (Luggage Hero or anywhere else). I would just use the facility on Platform 12 at Paddington Station (which is a walk up one, or can be pre booked)- https://www.excess-baggage.com/our-locations.php
A bit more expensive than Luggage Hero, but then if due to being late you don't get to use Luggage Hero that option is more expensive. I have no idea if Luggage Hero can be cancelled if you don't use it.
If not then you may as well stick with them.
Thank you all for your advice! Luggage Hero does have free cancellation, but it's good to know there is an alternative option at the station itself that people have used and can recommend.
