Visiting London and Paris with my 15 year old grandson in April over Easter. Are stores and public transport closed between Good Friday and Easter?
Thanks
Some.
London is a melting pot of religions. Some observe the Christian Easter, many don't.

Many/ most stores will be closed on Easter Sunday in England and Wales, but open as normal on the other days. Best to check individual sights to see if they’re open on the Sunday. Be aware that Easter Monday is also a holiday, but everything will be open.
Its actually law that shops over 280m2 must close on Easter Sunday.
Most smaller shops open, particulary the convenience type - however, thier trading hours are likey to be restrictive. Nearly all tourist attractions will be open though.
