The RMT union have announced strikes on East Midlands Trains on Saturday 1, 8 and 15 August.
The effects on service will be determined in due course. EMT run as far as Norwich and Liverpool as well as the Sheffield and Nottingham to London main line, and many local services in the East Midlands, so the action has the potential to be quite disruptive.
