When you ask “What about staying there?” Are you asking where to stay? Is it safe to stay there? Or what?

You other post inquiring about inexpensive ride sharing leads me to believe you are trying to find “cheap” accommodation in London.

As has been posted on this Forum about London lodging countless times look at the Premiere Inns.

Public transportation in London via the underground and busses can assure you’ll get to THE sites. Walking works as well. Google Westminster Abbey and you’ll see that the London Eye, Elizabeth Tower
( Big Ben presently in scaffolding) Parliament, Churchill War Rooms, Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery are all within walking distance.

Aldgate East and Tower Hamlets are mixed areas that move very quickly from “fringes of the City” to “very deprived area.”

A street name would be helpful - and you might also look on Google street view to get a sense of them.
