The West Ham United football team -- soccer, you know -- have taken up residence in the Olympic Stadium. The new digs have not smoothed their fortune in the Premier League, but on game day the neighbourhood is sure to be swarming with supporters.

Not pub, but at the big Westfield Stratford mall right on top of the train & tube station, we had good luck with both The Real Greek, and the fresh pasta cooked to order place in the 'premium' food court over by the Waitrose.
