This is easy one, I think - just made resv at the Hampton/Hilton at North Terminal for 0705 departure to HAM - are there other, better options? Pretty expensive, mainly because is Friday night, I think.
This location is right at North Terminal at Gatwick so best for EasyJet?
How much time to allow - when do we present ourselves :-)

I don't know HAM. Transatlantic or domestic? Schengen or non Schengen?
There are two other hotels at North Terminal....a Sofitel and a Premier Inn. I've stayed at both. Sofitel is nicer, Premier Inn is cheaper. Both are across from each other. I'd stay at either one again and probably will at some point.
As to what time....what time does the check in desk open? Will you have a checked bag? Will you be able to get your boarding pass early?
If you have your boarding pass and only carry on bags, I'd say get to security about two hours ahead of time. Others will say three.

Be aware easyjet closes boarding 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure; checked bag drop off closes 60 minutes before.

I would be 'present' not much past 5. ( if not a bit earlier)

Is that a packet flight? Is there a bottleneck at the terminal? Do they leave the doors ajar? Do passengers feel squeezed in? The pilot is Heinz Colman, right? And Copilot is Colman Heinz?
