Early Morning Arrival to LHR

We'll be arriving on a red eye to LHR at about 6:30 am, but our holiday rental house in the Archway neighborhood will not be available for us until 3 pm. As we will have two of our school age kids along, we will need a place to shower and rest a bit, ideally. At the very least, we would need somewhere to leave our things for a few hours. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I already looked into Aerotel at LHR Terminal 3, but the rate for a few hours doesn't seem worth it, 259 GBP for a family room.

Have you contacted the owner or agency for help with this?? Often bags are allowed to be dropped of at a property while it is being cleaned. Give that a try.
This is why we always stay in a hotel the first night, moving to rental properties the next day.

Some of the airline club lounges have showers. I know the United club does because I have used it. See if you can purchase the a lounge entry for the day. Second, a train station or bus terminal near your lodging might have luggage storage. And you might be able to book a day room at a hotel near your rental.

Thank you; all the replies are helpful. Seems like dayuse.com is the way to go!

I’ve seen people suggest searching online for services such as luggagehero.com. Use your favorite search engine to find “luggage storage London”. I’ve used it once in NYC. Found a hotel right near Penn station to stash my bag for about 8 hours. Reasonable price too.
