I've got tickets!

Met a woman on Wednesday who had just seen it the evening before and she could not say enough good things about the show :-)
We were riding on the "Mail Rail" at the Postal Museum, and she had even brought a Paddington doll along for the ride. I gathered she had gotten it at the show – which she said was mostly adults (evening show).

Hi Laura!

Go Bills! No snow here yet, but I'm sure it will be coming soon! It's 26 degrees here right now, but sunny at least. We love that we see Bills fans wherever we go & when speaking with them, how many connections we usually have :)

My husband is all on board with taking a trip to see Paddington, but our problem is trying to fit it in with the trips we already have planned, family stuff planned & work scheduling. He runs his own business, so we have to work around that.

I'd want at least a week in London if we're going back. I have a few other plays I'd like to see as well + so many other things in London we haven't seen yet!

I see that it runs until 10/25/26. I wonder if there's a chance it will be extended?

Tina – it's always fun meeting Bills fans, especially out here in California. As you say, we always have something in common! My cousins (who also live here now) went to a recent game (staying a friend's house near Orchard Park). One of my California cousins (Buffalo-raised) & her son were even at that 49ers game last year that took place in a driving snowstorm. I loved watching it (from the comfort of my living room, haha).

Given how popular the Paddington musical is already, I would imagine the run might be extended ... but what would I know – I just know that Shadowlands (which we are also seeing in March) says "strictly limited run".

We also have a hard time fitting in trips, as my husband works full-time. He has something like 10 weeks of vacation saved up, but loves his job, and is sometimes very busy – and luckily, sometimes not :-)

I hope you get to go!

Hi Laura:

Yes, most Bills fans are a hearty breed! We prefer watching from the comfort of home too. I don't mind the cold too much, but don't want to sit out in it for hours.

We booked the London trip last night! I have a milestone birthday in 2026 (although later in the year) & we decided that this trip would be the way to celebrate. We're booked for April just after Easter & I've reserved our Paddington tickets!

TimeOut London has a link with some Black Friday sales on theatre tickets (not Paddington though):

https://timeouttheatre.londontheatredirect.com/tickets/black-friday

I did get discounted tickets through the above link for Six and The Mousetrap, 2 other shows we've wanted to see. Now to reserve the hotel - the trip planning is so much a part of my fun :)

Shadowlands, with Hugh Bonneville, how exciting! I hope you do a trip report, I'd love to hear about your trip.

Have a nice weekend!

Tina
