Early dinner ideas between Tower and Globe?

We have open tickets for Tower of London on Friday, June 9th and tickets to a play at Shakespeare's Globe starting at 7:30. My plan was to go to the Tower in the afternoon then go to Borough Market for dinner before the play. Well, I just discovered the Market closes at 5. We'll likely be wanting dinner around 5 - 5:30. As I research restaurants, it looks like that's early for dinner and late for tea. Would love some suggestions for something between the 2. Fine dining isn't our thing, but I don't want "fast food" either. Wouldn't mind some place touristy as long as the food is good.

The National Theatre isn't very far from the Globe - they have multiple dining options, from a casual self service cafe to more formal service. You don't need a ticket to eat there. We found the food to be very good [on two occasions] and a decent value. It's a very lively scene.

There are a ton of eating establishments there along the river and around the NT and BFI - look at Google Maps.

There are several restaurants that offer pre-theater dining in London. Google pre- theater dining. We ate at The Northall in the Corinthian, wonderful meal and atmosphere.

The Globe has its own pub/restaurant -The Swan - attached. See details/menus etc here: https://www.shakespearesglobe.com/visit/food-and-drink/

I’m not sure I’ve eaten there but we popped in for a ‘livener’ before going through to the theatre (actually I’m not sure if we didn’t go to the smaller, indoor Wanamaker theatre on that occasion, but it’s all the same place in truth).

There are so many restaurants in the vicinity of Borough Market. Even if the market is closed there is absolutely no problem getting something to eat. Do a Google maps search and see what takes your fancy. I like Flat Iron. It’s a London chain selling steak and chips basically and it’s well priced for London. Always lots of space for walk ins.

There is a Greek restaurant right beside the Globe as you turn left off of the Millennium Bridge. I've been there once before seeing King Lear and the food dampened the inevitable depression I felt afterwards. That is to say it was perfectly fine (except the London prices)

It's also within about twenty steps to the front of the theatre.

I wish I could remember the name, and my maps are being fussy but I don't think I imagined it haha
