Looking for advice on where to stay in Durham. There was a post on this but it was five years old. Thanks so much!
Although I don't care for the name, the 40 Winks B&B is very pleasant, well located and is just the other side of the river to the cathedral.
We have been to Durham many times, last visit being a few weeks ago. My favourite is the Indigo, which is in the old council building, but a few times when that was fully booked or too expensive, we have stayed at the Premier Inn City Centre (at Walkergate) and found it very comfortable. Both are extremely central.
Thanks to both of you!
