Does anyone have the best transportation advice regarding these destinations?
I know that there were buses regularly travelling from the Europa bus station to the airport. I can't comment on whether this is the "best" transportation, as I didn't use it. (I was talking the bus from there to Dublin.)
Hi,
These are your options per Rick Steve’s info to us pretour from Dublin Airport.
By Taxi
A taxi directly to the hotel costs about €35 and takes about 30-40 minutes. Fares are more expensive on Sundays and public holidays. Be sure to get a taxi from the official taxi stand just outside the arrivals terminal.
By Bus
The Aircoach Bus #700 (towards Leopardstown) departs frequently from just outside the arrivals terminal. A ticket to the Dublin City Centre - Kildare Street stop costs about €8.50 per person one way, and the trip takes about 40 minutes. Purchase a ticket directly from the driver. From Kildare Street bus stop it is a 3-minute walk to the hotel. If taking the bus from outside the airport Terminal 2, I counted four stops to Kildare Street.
Exiting the bus, turn left and walk a half-block, then turn left onto Molesworth Street. The Buswells Hotel will be on the left at #23-27.
Do you have Google Maps on you phone or laptop?
Shows you can take the 700 bus to Kildare Street, exit and walk to the hotel. Says it take a minute from Kildare to the hotel.
Also does the hotel website offer directions?.
Are you flying into Belfast City or Belfast International?
Lastly you have posted on the ENGLAND forum.
You locations are in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
I took this wonderful tour in 2018. I took the airport bus to the hotel in Dublin. I took a taxi to the airport in Belfast. Both worked well and I can recommend.
Is there a reason why this is posted on the England forum instead of Ireland?
Mistakenly posted on the London page. My apologies.
