My husband and I just got back from driving from London to Cornwall. We stopped in Bath and then on to Tintagel, Padstow and then 4 days in Penzance. It was great! I just wanted to mention that the GPS was INVALUABLE!!! No fighting over which exit to leave the round about!! It's so easy to enter a post code and we didn't go wrong except finding the Minnack Theater. It took us to the Telegraph Museum which is almost right next to the theater. We drove back to London from Penzance on a Saturday and made it back in 6 hours with little trouble. I had a trip tick made but rarely used it. It was nice to have a "hard copy" to look at but wasn't needed.
Pleased it all worked out - sometimes it doesn't, as the link below illustrates
