Hi All. We’re on a day drive from Bath towards Portsmouth. Anyone have a suggestion for lovely little villages to see along the way? We’ve already been to Stonehenge.

Stockbridge in Hampshire in the Test Valley is worth a look. Technically it’s a small town but it feels like a village. It’s known for its exceptionally wide high street, which used to be a drovers’ road.
Then in the same area is Mottisfont - the abbey has beautiful gardens. And the small town of Romsey has a lovely abbey.
So basically you could follow the Test Valley down for part of the route.

Thank you for the recommendation to visit Stockbridge. It was a wonderful stop over. We highly recommend a bite to eat at The Meadow. Great menu and delicious food.
