I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I have the following Rick Steves' books: Europe Through The Backdoor, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Europe 101, Travel as a Political Act, and Mediterranean Cruise Ports. I have looked in a number of your books, and also online, and I cannot find anything on Down House. How do I get there? What are their hours? You cover every church and art exhibit in Europe, but nothing on the man who redefined life as we know it.

Down House is in Downe, Kent. You can take the train from London Victoria Station to Bromley South. From Bromley station you can take a taxi to Downe Village or bus #146 to Downe Village.

Rick Steves has never actually been to England. At least, not the one I have lived in for 55 years.
