I would like to arrive in Dover mid-morning, store my luggage while I visit the area for several hours, then pick up my luggage around 1:30 pm. in the afternoon to board a cruise (the cruise check-in cutoff is 4:00 p.m.). The main goal is to not have to drag my luggage around while I visit the sites near Dover. Apparently the cruise line won't store or receive my luggage until check-in begins at 1:00 p.m., and luggage cannot be stored at the Dover Priory train station. Any ideas for me? Thanks in advance.

After a little more digging:
Dover Eurochange offers luggage storage for a maximum of one day - no overnight storage for £2.50 per bag.

stasher.com lists businesses that will hold luggage for you for a fee. Fully insured. Don't know if the Dover locations will work for you but it's another option.
