It appears that the time we had planned to visit Dover Castle there is a special event going on--World War Two Weekend. In reading the website, it is a Bank holiday, which doesn't seem like a good thing from crowds standpoint.
Anyway, we can go on Sunday or Monday to Dover. Is one likely to be better for crowds? Or maybe I should ask if the crowds will be so intense to make the visit not enjoyable at all? I wasn't counting on this I must admit.
The day that we don't go to Dover we are planning to go to Whitstable. Does Sunday or Monday matter more for Whitstable? I had been thinking of basing it on the weather with Whitstable getting the better day, as more indoor activities at Dover Castle.
We are basing ourselves in Canterbury.
