I would like to confirm that I only need an ETA for travel this coming October to England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The ETIAS does not apply to these four countries?
Thanks for the help!
Assuming you are traveling on a US passport, you need an ETA to travel in the UK, which includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Nothing other than your passport is needed to travel in Ireland.
Indeed, the ETIAS does not apply to those four countries.
Thank you all for the reply. I just wanted to make sure after reading up about it. Also I just did the ETA online, took about 5 minutes and 10 minutes later I got a response back from the UK saying it was accepted and the ETA is linked to my passport. Really quick and easy.
