Any have any experience doing laundry in one of their rooms? Is it generally frowned upon? Thanks in advance.

Guy, Sorry no. We've stayed at the PI at County Hall several times and had a wash done at a laundromat behind Waterloo Stn. It wasn't a long walk and it was an interesting little nighborhood. Cute little cafe just down the road offering a full English for £5.99 while we waited. Not much help for you unless you're going to County Hall.

Laurel , Thanks for the heads up on the Laundromat . We are staying close by on Waterloo Road this fall and found the place on google maps . It will be useful to do a load or two during our stay .

We did ours in the sink at the PI County Hall. They had great towels, too.
