Do rental cars have the standard recharger outlets for cell phones?

Not sure that all modern hire cars have a cigarette lighter socket, due to the "smoking police" some newer cars just have a USB type plug for powering ipods, satnav's etc. Better to email the hire car company that you decide to use for more info.
