Do GPS/SatNav show B&Bs in their lodging list?

I've never seen it but I bet there's a POI add on somewhere with some. Then again if you have the AA add on it will have ones that they rate.

But - most B&Bs have addresses and Garmins and Tom Toms are pretty good at finding addresses after you put them in...

Yes, but that's after you've selected one. I'm looking for the POI to show me which ones are in the area we're in or headed to.

There is a U.K. website called Late Rooms which lists hotels, B & Bs, etc, and tells you which have vacancies and at what price. I have their Android app, which checks your location and tells you what is available for that night in your area.

All I ever had to do was put in the postal code to my B&Bs in the UK and it would take me right to their door. It was awesome.

Thanks, but I won't have Internet access while on the highway. I'm planning on buying a cheap (dumb) phone when I get there so I can make calls. I will have my Garmin with the European sd card. I was hoping we could use the Garmin POI while on the road to see what B&Bs were available at our next destination, then call for availability. After London we don't have a fixed itinerary so it would be handy to find places to stay as we're driving.
