We were recently watching an online travel channel on youtube called Love and London. In it, she suggests a site called, https://www.daysoutguide.co.uk. It seems to a Groupon type site that gives 2 for 1 deals on different things to do in London. It looks like it has some super options, but I'd like to know others experience with it and whether it is legitimate. Thoughts? Thank you.
It is legitimate but make sure you read all the fine print? You must have valid National Rail train tickets or applicable travelcards to be eligible. Also, if your rail journey is only one-way and only on one day, the offer is also only good for one day.
Thank you. That's very helpful.
Absolutely legit.
Been mentioned numerous times on this website. Use the search engine and see all the responses.
It is nothing to do with groupon or other third party site. It is a promotion by the National Railway companies in the UK. Be aware that because it is a rail promotion it is only valid with an acceptable rail ticket. What is acceptable is clearly set down on the website. Specifically, Oyster cards are not acceptable although some other methods of London travel are.
It is not exclusively a London thing, it is nationwide, but there is a concentration in London - mostly because there are a lot of things in London and a lot of people go there.
