My friend and I will be on a group trip to Paris in August. Er want to do a day trip to London just to see the basic sights. Please advise how we get the hop on hop off bus from St Pancreas station. And easiest way to get back to station for trip back to paris that evening. Check-in times etc. Thank you in advance!

HOHO Bus

Scroll down --- did a quick look and at least one route has St Pancras as one of its stops.. The routes look circular so getting back to the start point should not be a problem
HOHO buses can’t use the bus lanes, so often get bogged down in traffic, so it would be quicker taking regular buses. In some instances, walking maybe quicker than the HOHO.
You need to be at the station at least an hour in advance at both ends. Hopefully there won’t be any Covid restrictions/requirements that would jeopardise the day.
Check tfl.gov.uk for transport options in London.
France is one hour ahead.
All of that EuroStar information is on their website—easy to find and verify one's self.
The earliest Eurostar train departs at 7:13 except on Sun which is 9:13 and takes 2h 30m. The problem with the hop on hop off bus is that it takes all day and you have to be organized on where to catch it and then you have to get off to validate your ticket. If you plan on seeing Buckingham Palace you need to get off and walk a block. You then have to walk back to the bus stop and wait to be picked up. Furthermore, you’ll spend most of the day in traffic.
I recommend taking this tour if staying in London but not the way you’re doing it because the last train departs at 19:01.
