I will be flying on AA miles on BA flight from Chicago to Heathrow then on BA to Geneva next June all on one ticket … will I clear customs in England or Geneva or both? Thanks for your advice.
Heathrow has a flight connections tool. Pop in your details and it will show what to expect.
In general. No passport control at Heathrow. You will need to go through a security screening. When you get to Geneva you will go through immigration and then customs. Customs which is for the goods you are carrying is generally a formality unless you have something to declare. Just walk through the nothing to declare doors.
Thanks, Rocket Man :)
If you have checked bags, they should be checked through to Geneva so you won't see them in London.
As Rocket said.....BOTH Immigration and Customs will be in Geneva.
