Customs/Immigration Time Required @Gatwick

How much time is it taking to get thru customs and immigration once landed at Gatwick? One flight coming in from Canada; one flight coming in from Amsterdam. Carryon luggage so no waiting for bags. How much time should we build in before booking our train seats? Thanks in advance!

Where are you going on the train?
It took me 30 minutes to about an hour to passport at Gatwick the 3 times I have passed through.

We're going Gatwick to Bath via Reading. Then later on, Gatwick to Hove.
