Guards/Senior Conductors on Cross Country will strike on 23 and 25 August.
No services at all will run on any of their routes on 23 August, substantial short notice changes and cancellations are expected on Sunday 24 August, and a very limited service on 25 August from 0800 to 1800 only.
On that date no service will run from Stansted Airport to Leicester also from Birmingham to Reading and the South Coast via Oxford.
Little service will run York to Edinburgh - a single train in each direction
On affected routes use other companies services, which will therefore be much busier.
Not sure why we have under 14 days notice.
