Day 7: Fly to Edinburgh

Don't fly, take the train.

Day 10: fly out very early to London

Again, don't fly, take the train. Also, where is the other country you are going to? There might be flights there from Edinburgh.

Do you mind sharing which country you are heading to? If it's France, Belgium or Netherlands you might consider the Eurostar train instead of flying.

Also, do you have your plane tickets yet? IF not and IF there is a convenient flight from your location in to Edinburgh, I might flip the trip around and fly in to Edinburgh, so that city, take the train as Badger suggests, down to London, do London and then move on to your next location.

To me your London and Edinburgh days look fine.

Or rather than return to London to fly to Edinburgh, you could fly from Bristol to Edinburgh on Easyjet. There is a direct hourly bus from Bath to Bristol Airport, up to 4 flights per day, from as low as £24 + baggage fees (current prices)- a 1 hour 10 minute flight.

Then on Day 10 LNER train EDI to London Kings Cross.

Hi, Enryu! Aren't you the person that is traveling for 3-4 months through Europe?

First, that sounds like a wonderful trip! However, you might to consider putting ALL of your destinations in one post as many members here can help with getting you from one place to the next. From your other posts, it looks like you are going to Italy and France. Any other countries?

As noted below, there are many choices available for transportation but it's hard to give advice when you don't have all the information available.

Pam suggests flipping the Edinburgh/London locations around, which is a potential option. But could you stick with your original plan, but on Day 10, fly to that other country from Edinburgh, instead of from London?

Are you therefore flying in from somewhere else in Europe to the U.K. and then leaving from London to the USA? If so, I would consider flying into Edinburgh and then train to London to save backtracking.

Yes. I'm doing my rough draft Itinerary right now. I don't know yet if Italy is the first country that I'm going to visit or England. Because Right now I only have 4 countries that I want to visit in Europe. Italy, France, Germany and England. France and Italy is the 2 countries that I'm going to stay longer. I probably going to stay there more than 2 weeks. I will visit the country side in Italy (Tuscany and Umbria) and South of France. I'm going to visit the little villages and towns in South of France. I'm not sure If I'm going to Alsace region.

Also I'm not going stay in Europe for 3 months. I think I'm just going stay 11 weeks max in Europe.

Yes I just check the Airlines company, there's a straight flight there in Edinburgh. Thank you so much!

Well EDI has direct flights to Washington DC, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York and Orlando- so you could do an open jaw ticket to your 1st destination, returning home ex EDI.

Yes. more than 2 weeks in Italy and France. Because I will visit the country side and rent a car in Tuscany (5-6 days) and South of France and visit most of the small towns. I don't know if I'm going to visit Alsace region in France.

In view of what you are thinking of doing, I would suggest that you read this site about train travel:>https://www.seat61.com

Switzerland is a fabulous country yet you appear to be skipping it.
